Our firm incurs certain fees and expenses such as obtaining medical records, police reports, etc in order to resolve your case. There is no markup. These costs are usually minimal and are deducted from your settlement proceeds prior to disbursement.

Most firms charge 33 1/3% or more (minus costs) of your total settlement check if your case settles before filing a lawsuit but will increase to 45% or more (minus costs) if you file a lawsuit.

The use of technology has significantly lowered the operating costs for all law firms, especially during COVID-19. For instance, other than your settlement check, we don’t send physical mail. We email documents. Signatures are digital. No need to visit a fancy office, we do simple phone video or Zoom client meetings. You will have your own email and text portal to talk to us 24/7 and monitor your case. You pay a higher fee for all of these costs at other firms. We choose to pass our cost savings on to the client instead, saving you lots of money.

The phrase is used to entice you to sign up because there are no upfront fees due. The question you should ask upfront is, “How much will I pay in fees on the back end when I do win?”
